   MANAGER, QUALITY ASSURANCE

Reporting to the Head of Branches & KIMSOM, the officer is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and compliance in all KIM programs, processes, procedures and the regulatory framework..

 KEY PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ KEY RESULT AREAS

A: Allocated Professional Programs;

The office holder is responsible for;

1.Compliance to the requirements of the examination body/ institutions for all the accredited programs.

2.Support roll out of the programs at the branch level.

3.Quality assurance of the programs in reference to content delivery and examination.

4.Cascading Product knowledge especially at the branch level.

B: Quality Assurance in Branches & KIMSOM

1.Set up systems for quality assurance management in the Institute.

2.Setting quality assurance compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.

3.Ensuring compliance with national and international standards relating to education and training.

4.Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation process.

5.Establishing standards of service for customers or clients.

6.Ensuring quality in the development of management and certification programmes.

7.Prepare and manage the departmental budget for resource allocation and control.

8.Develop quality assurance standards and ensure compliance of all branches in adherence to agreed standards.

9.Establish the industry standards in training and plan execution.

10.Prepare standards and compliance reports.


C: THE TEAM LEADER IN THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS

The accredited centres are mandated to offer KIM programs and hence receive examinations from HQ.

1.Formalize the Accreditation process for all the centres.

2.Establish new accredited centres in line with the strategic plan to increase the KIM footprint.


 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•A Master’s Degree from a recognised university

•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field

•A professional qualification is an added advantage

•Computer literate


 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

a)Ensure that there are quality learning activities in the branch

b)Availability of a compliance matrix for KIMSOM

b) Improve Net Promoter Score for the Institute
