He has over 9 years experience and expertise as a Public Officer. He served in National Land Commission (NLC) as a member of; Kisumu County Land Management Board (CLMB) where he was involved Public Land Management. He currently works for National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) and is involved in; Corporate Research, Risk and Quality Management, Projects Planning and Management as well as Corporate Strategy and Planning. He is also a professional Marketer and was awarded a Chartered Marketer status by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in September 2021-a status he has maintained to date.

He is a part-time Management Consultant in several Local and International Management Consultancy Firms. He has also published papers in field of Quality Management and performance in both Local and International Journals. He is a hands-on professional who is passionate about customer satisfaction.

Dickson holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT)-Kenya, a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Egerton University-Kenya and a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (HL) from CIM -United Kingdom (UK). Currently he is the Chair, Membership and Development Committee of KIM Governing Council, Chair, KIM -Mombasa Branch and a life Member and Volunteer of The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS)-Mombasa Branch.

Dickson is a Full Professional and council member at The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), Full Professional Member and Chartered Marketer of The Chartered Institute of Marketing -UK and an Associate Member of Institute of Risk Management (Kenya)-IRM(K).
