The Institute hereby seeks to recruit a results-oriented and self-driven experienced professional to join our team for the position below;

HEAD, STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNITS

The jobholder for responsible for provision of strategic leadership and growth of the respective departments. The position is responsible for generating strategic financial goals and growth of KIM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Formulate strategies and objectives to support implementation of competitive training, OPI special projects and growth in KIM membership in line with the institute vision and mission.

b) Provide leadership to the Marketing Team, develop marketing strategic plan and budget for the Institute in line with the overall strategic plan and objectives.

c) Prepare new and existing product marketing plans through research, analysis of the market trends and recommend changes on the institute marketing and business development strategies in cooperation with divisional heads.

d) Support Business Development for all KIMs’ products and services to generate revenue for the

Institute, seek partnership and sponsorship for membership events through developing proposals, negotiating with prospects and partnership management.

e) Oversee and implement governance related activities such as elections, annual branch meeting and annual general meetings.

f) Oversee coverage and branding during corporate events to ensure look and feel is consistent with

the Institute brand through use of social media posting, media coverage where necessary, banners and other branded items.

g) Oversee the training cycle for open and in-house programs that cover the needs assessment process design, marketing, implementation and evaluation of the programs.

h) Design and implement an effective monitoring and evaluation assessment system for the duration with a view to improve service delivery to the client.

i) Develop methodologies to access market opportunities and the viability of business, analyse and interpret data to identify patterns and solutions.

j) Leading and coordination of CSR activities including devising long-term CSR programme

k) Undertake market and business development activities to create new revenue channels for the department and institution.

l) Facilitate the preparation of annual departmental budget and oversee its overall realization.

m) Formulate strategies and objectives to support implementation of competitive training, OPI special projects and growth in KIM membership in line with the institute vision and mission.

c) Extent of visibility as perceived by stakeholders and engagement.

d) Membership numbers and level of satisfaction of members – inhouse.

e) Branch feedback on membership support.

f) Number of new and retained clients.

g) Revenue targets in Membership & PCS.

h) Percentage growth in market share.

i) Inspire and motivate team.

j) Recognizable brand.

k)Policies that support and make businesses.

l) Enhanced profile of the division.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPEREINCE REQUIRED

a) Master’s degree in Business or Marketing from a recognised Institution.

b) Minimum of Eight(8) years of relevant work experience.

c) Membership into a recognized & relevant professional body.

d) Highly developed and demonstrated teamwork skills.

e) Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written communication,

market research, product packaging, branding.

f) Strong business acumen.

g) Excellent business intelligence, business skills and network.

h) Excellent communication skills.

i) Ability to work in an organization with diverse business operations.
