The KIM School of Management has over the years offered professional training in Management. This has been done through a programme of different Diplomas tailor-made to meet the needs of the industry. The School has now partnered with KASNEB to offer KASNEB CPA program at all our branches countrywide.
The program are classified into two basic categories; the Technician and the Professional Examinations and include the following:
Accounting Technicians Certificate (ATC) - The Accounting Technicians qualification equips candidates with skills and competencies to work as middle level accountants providing technical support in accounting, auditing and taxation.
Certified Public Accountants (CPA) - Certified Public Accountants are skilled and competent professional accountants, auditors, finance managers, tax consultants and practitioners.
A person seeking to be registered as a student for any of the technician examinations must show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications:
(a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with an aggregate average of at least grade D+ (D Plus) or equivalent qualifications.
(b) Any other KASNEB technician examination certificate.
(c) Such other certificates or diplomas as may be approved by KASNEB.
A person seeking to be registered as a student for any of the professional examinations must show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications:
(a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with an aggregate average of at least grade C+ (C plus) provided the applicant has obtained a minimum of grade C+ (C plus) in both English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
(b) Kenya Advanced Certificate Education (KACE) with at least TWO principal passes provided that the applicant has credits in Mathematics and English at Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) level of equivalent qualifications.
(c) KASNEB technician or professional examination certificate.
(d) A degree from a recognized university.
(e) Such other certificates or diplomas as may be approved by KASNEB.
Applicants intending to take the June Examination must be registered not later than 30th November of the previous year, while those intending to take the December examination must register as students not later than the preceding 31st May. One is registered by filing in the registration form and the student Card form and paying the relevant fees as per the KASNEB fee guidelines
b) Late registration may be accepted up to one month after the normal closing date on payment of late registration fee, which is an additional 50% of the normal registration fee.
a) Registered students who wish to take the examination must submit the prescribed entry forms, duly completed together with the appropriate examination fee on or before the specified dates. The closing date for the receipt of the entries for the December examination is the preceding 15 August and for the June Examination is the preceding 15 February.
b) Late entries may be accepted up to one month after the closing date for the normal entries on payment of late entry fee, which is an additional 50% of the normal examination entry fee.
c) Examination dates and lists of examination centers are supplied with the examination entry form. Information on the examination dates and examination centers is also available on the KASNEB website: www.kasneb.or.ke.

The Tuition fee payable to KIM will be as follows:
